Hayyel She’s done everything right in her four runs. I’m delighted to get a win for the Rogers family because they are great supporters of my pre-training business and we go back a long way. My dad was apprenticed to Anthony’s great grandfather back in the 1930’s. He was in Crotanstown when Jack Rogers trained the five classic winners in 1935. She’ll be a handicapper at a mile and two and a mile and a half. It’s great to get a win as she’s by Dark Angel out of a Galileo mare. Mark Gallagher rode her work last week and he said she’d like it good. I thought she wanted a cut in it but the ground this evening was no problem.

Sonaiyla she got knocked down twice the last day but still ran well, and the time before that there seemed to be an awful draw bias at Naas so she’s been a bit unlucky. It’s lovely to come here and win a maiden with her. She had the bit of experience and Ronan is riding terrific. She can go back to handicaps now.

Mount Fuji I'm delighted with him and they can be green, and he was green, and a little babyish,. We think he could be an Ascot two year old and whether or not we can get another race into him or not I'm not sure but he is a nice colt. Five or six furlongs is his trip and he is not short of speed. San Andreas is the only other Dark Angel runner I've had and he won as a two year old also.

Shelir He did it very nicely and is still a horse with plenty to learn about racing. I was always confident over the last furlong that he was going to get there. He'll obviously appreciate a mile which he won over in Navan, and the logical thing is to come back here later this month for the Irish 2,000 Guineas. He was a little bit keen in the early part of the race and then settled. It's just his second start, and most of the other horses had a lot more experience than he had. He's a work in progress and I think there is a nice bit more to come from this horse. I purposely ran him over seven today just to see would he have the pace for a Guineas, and you saw there that he does and is entitled to run in the Irish Guineas and represent us well. He could well be a mile and a quarter horse in time.

Opening Verse We have always been very fond of this fellow. We were disappointed with him the first day and thought he'd be in the first three but he missed the break. He is very fast and I'd say he'll get better with better ground and he could be anything,. We'll probably hold on to him for a while as we bred him and want to do best for the mare. His half-brother was third in the Qatar Derby and he is from a fast family. We will see what the handicapper does but might go for a black-type race straightaway with him.

Decrypt He is a nice horse and I had this race in mind from a long way back. I was looking for it in the calendar and last year it was a furlong further and I was only ever going to come here,. I did expect him to do that and he is a horse who physically got stronger and bigger in himself and I didn't feel it was the right thing to do last year by running him again (after his maiden win). He has length and strength and I asked Billy (Lee) and he said he would get a mile no problem. We'll see what we'll do and I have an idea in my head what to do with him but I wouldn't be frightened with the idea of running him in the Guineas; he definitely wouldn't run before the Guineas.

Titanium Sky it's been a great evening, a lovely four-timer, it's like old times!. I've had a couple of five timers here but four-timers are always appreciated as things are a bit tougher nowadays. he (Orr) gave her a lovely ride. It was in someways a messy race but he took his time, got a nice run through, and she did it well. I'd say another furlong would be well within her compass. I would expect to be able to get some black-type with her during the year. I thought she quickened up very nicely. They were all very well ridden, both jockeys (Chris Hayes and Oisin Orr) rode very very well.

Shelir He's a nice colt and has been working well at home. The false start just lit him up a bit more than I would have liked, and he was a little bit keener than Chris wanted in the early part of the race so he'll learn a lot from that. We'll bring him back a furlong for the Tetrarch (Curragh May 6th). He has a lot of pace.
