Sceptical He’s a lovely horse and was a bargain buy (for 2,800 sterling). As soon as we worked him we could see he had gears to burn. He was green here the first time, walked out of the stalls but came home well. He came on in leaps and bounds for the run. The boys have a couple of nice sprinters now and hopefully he’ll be one to add to the team next year. They are great supporters of me and of Dundalk racecourse, and they gotYuften back today as well so they are happy going home. I’m not sure what is here for him or even what sort of mark he will get. We have no real plan, and it’s not the end of the world if we have to park him until next year. It’s great to have Dundalk and it would be great if they could race twice a week all through the winter. It’s good that it was a day meeting today for the staff as well. That’s why I’m here as I’m not home at all hours and can function tomorrow.

Nigg Bay he has his little issues with the stalls and it’s more impatience than anything else. He’s a good horse up here, loves the surface and I don’t think he’s ever run a bad race here. He’s typical of the owner (David Spratt). He restocks at the end of the year and he’s here to be claimed for anyone. These races are great and if he is claimed then the best of luck to the next person that gets him and if not we’ll be happy to take him home.

Hathiq it is great to have him back as we found a few issues with him and probably shouldn't have went to Epsom or the Rockingham. We found a few issues after, nothing major, and the boys had a few quid on him this morning so it is great. He'll come back here for a Listed race at the end of the month and he also holds an entry for the Group 1 Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh. If he won the Listed race it would be an option and the Group 1 often cuts into a small field and the lads picked it out. He deserves to hold an entry and you have to be in to win. It's good to have a win for the boys again as we have had a load of horses placed without winning and this winner keeps the show on the road.
