Eglish She's good, tough and hardy and she got down to a winnable mark,. The claim probably made the difference today, taking the 7lb off. Cian only started with me two weeks ago. He's come home from England and it's a great way to start. I'm delighted for him, he works hard and is a good kid to ride. I think he'll do very well here in the next year of two. It's great for Shamrock as well, that's another win on the board for them.

Eglish she wasn't winning out of turn and loves this place. She has a new bunch of lads involved with her, in Shamrock Thoroughbreds, and it's great for them as it's her first win for them. On form she should have run a big race and it's great that she won. We'll campaign away up here and see what happens and she should go in again. The handicapper wasn't easy on her earlier in the year but when you win three times in an all-weather season he's not going to be too kind to you. We ran her on soft ground a few times but she needs top of the ground. She's a real all-weather fast ground filly.

Harry's Hill I thought his run here on his last visit was a serious run. Ronan was a small bit disappointed with him last time (at Tipperary) and said the ground was just too fast for him. He was bought in lockdown by two electricians and a publican, he was to go for the breeze-ups, so a red carpet should be out for them when things open! They were coming today and had it all signed up before things changed. The first day he ran with the choke out but the second day I thought it was a brilliant run (finished eighth of twelve behind Tar Heel). It was nearer six then and he just didn't get home. Ronan said he will get six. We'll see what the handicapper does now.

Overheer The reason we bought him is he is related to Ardbrae Lady who was second in the (Irish) 1,000 Guineas for me. He is from that family and is out of a Galileo mare and I hope he can improve from that again, and I'd say there is another race in him. He is a big block of a horse and he is versatile ground-wise; I saw him going to the start and he cut daisies and, when we ran him on soft he bent the knee so he is a clever horse.

Principalship He had been cutting out last year a bit, but kept going there and I'd say the jockey (Dylan Browne McMonagle) got the fractions right. That is his first ride for me and he is very bright and to win was grand. The horse was no mug last year, he had a rating of 78 and he had been second on soft ground at Tipperary one day. I didn't look beyond today.
