Andalusa The ground wouldn't suit her but that ground wouldn't suit any horse in the race today. It was very very tough. We'll keep her at this job for the time being but what she did there she looked like a mare we're going to have fun with over fences when the ground gets better in the new season. She is a summer mare.

La Feline The lads (Kilcommon Or Bust Partnership) had a horse with me before and he went wrong on us and got injured so I'm delighted with this,. This one has done them a turn now and she was unlucky to meet one of Henry's (De Bromhead) here at Limerick over Christmas. The winner was a good second at Gowran and the third won subsequently so the form has worked out well. I was worried about how deep the ground was but Bryan said she handles it well and was very similar to the Christmas ground. She went well to the line at Christmas and we were lucky she got the lesser side of the divide.

Annamix It was a good performance. Willie has done well with this lad and I had schooled him a good bit at home,. He put it together nicely and it takes a fair horse to come and win in Fairyhouse first time. Hopefully there will be more to come over fences than he showed over hurdles but he still ran to a solid level over hurdles all last year. What he done at the second last was probably why he was so good. When he made the mistake he got away from it quick. We don't get points for how well it looks, it's about how fast we get from A to B and he did that as adequate as you'd like him to do it today for a horse first time. He'll probably get further but the way he threw in a few of those jumps early on he'd be a nice two-mile chaser through the spring. Better ground might bring out more in him but that's still a solid performance on slow ground after plenty of rain today.

Elwood They looked like they were going quick in front and we looked like we were going to finish a bad third or fourth, . It ended up suiting us as they all fell apart and we picked the pieces up although Eddie Harty's horse (Advantage Point) looked like he had the winning of it when he fell. He is more of a handicapper than a graded horse and is nothing like his brother (Delta Work, by Network).

Thatsy he’s a grand horse and he’s been threatening to that for a while. It was nice to get his head in front, and the (first time) tongue tie might have helped.

Diol Ker He's a lovely horse and if you wanted to paint a horse to make a chaser you'd paint him. He's the most gorgeous horse. He was going to win in Leopardstown last year and he stumbled at the last. Whatever he did, I think he might have pulled something, because it took him an awful long time to get over it. He had another run, and got beat in Navan, and we said we'd leave him after that for the rest of the season. He'll have his season jumping hurdles and he'll be a chaser for next season. Hopefully he stays together because he could be a real one when he gets jumping fences. He stays well, I've no doubt about that. He was getting an allowance there off the winners which was a help as well but he's a horse for the future. He'll climb up there. It might take fences before he gets to the very top but he will get up there when he's jumping fences. He's a nice horse.
