Ozzie's Way I would have settled for a dead heat to be honest! It's a long run down from the third last,. To be honest he was a different horse today. It's a pity Tim (Conroy) couldn't be here. He bred him and he is a great racegoer. It is a pity he couldn't travel today. We had a frustrating enough evening as a few didn't run up to scratch so it is good to get a winner. We'll possibly look for a beginners' chase for him, one of those rated beginners'. He jumps well and is from a very good family.

Cash Me Outside It's nice to get back with a winner after what happened the mare in the first. She would have been a nice mare when we'd eventually get her to settle, but that's racing,. This mare wants a half mile further and she was leaning the whole way with Sean. She was tough after the last, I thought she was going to be collared because the second horse jumped it well as well. She toughed it out well and handled the ground. I said to Sean not to take her out of her comfort zone. He could never take her back and her jumping kept her in it. She'll more than likely go for a handicap now but we'll see.

Hero's Welcome He was due one of them. He ran well at Navan the last day but stopped after the last and I don't know why. It was nice to see him do it today and he did it well. I don't think the ground matters to him, and he should be suited by a fence in time.

Lost Oscar She’s a cracking filly but I took a huge gamble running her here today as she’s a winter filly. We’ve had her in training all year waiting for soft ground. She’s a massive filly with a big pedigree and hopefully she’ll get a summers break and come back to be a nice filly for the autumn and winter. She has loads of ability and anything we have done with her she’s done well. It was in our mind to go point-to-pointing and then I didn’t want to risk her on the ground. When I came here earlier I walked the track and could see they had done a good job with watering the ground. Derek said it was quicker on the outside, so I said whatever you do go down the inside to mind her. It worked out well and he gave her a great ride. He said she was plenty green but a lovely filly to have for next year.

True Self she's progressed no end since winning her maiden on the Flat and she just seems to be getting better with every run. She's a nice filly to look forward to during the summer, hopefully. She had a nice blow and I didn't want to be hard on her for no reason. I think she'll come on fitness wise from it.

Osca Loca the owner Carl Beame passed away last year and his wife Catriona Beame became a grandmother half an hour ago with a baby girl, just as the race was about to start. That took the pressure off me!. She lives straight across the road, over the ditch, from here in Waterloo Stud.

Roxboro Road He’s done it well and he found plenty with the blinds today. I thought he had his chance but I didn’t think he was as good as that. At home he hangs on to plenty so that’s why I stuck the blinkers on him. I had cheek pieces on him the last day. They obviously woke him up, he liked the good ground and everything fell into place. Hopefully he’ll improve and win a good race some day. He’ll go to Punchestown for the Martinstown Handicap Hurdle if he’s sound and well.

Paisley Park Everything has gone as well as it could possibly go. Now it’s all about just hoping we get a bit of luck in running. I’m really happy with him and we’ll see what happens,. He looks fantastic. He’s done everything we’ve asked of him. He couldn’t go there any better than how he is at home. Hopefully we’ll get some luck. He’s been brilliant his season. It’s not too much of a hope he can keep it going for Thursday.

Paisley Park He isn’t big, but he’s in the Baracouda mould. He hits that flat spot and then comes again. He’s delivered for us the whole season and he’s done it again. I’m thrilled. He was a bit further back that I expected but, but the man in charge (Coleman) knew what he was doing. There are so many people behind this horse and I think they just blew him up the hill. I think it’s probably unlikely he’ll go chasing (next season). He’s good, so let’s enjoy him over hurdles and he’s only seven. I’m just delighted he’s done it and he’s a young horse going forward. I have no idea if he’ll run again this season — I’m not even going to think about that. He’s banged his knee a little at the last, so we’ll get him home and see how he is and decide.

Roxboro Road he is what he is, he's a 0-109 and if you could get enough of those 0-109s at Leopardstown and Navan he'd win a few of them. But when you get him down the country at Clonmel or Tramore he gets lost because he is a deliberate jumper and they go too quick for him. What he really loves is Tramore-horses at Leopardstown!
