Aidan O'Brien's Kyprios is one of 17 entries for Saturday's SBK Vintage Crop Stakes on Saturday and the master of Ballydoyle is anticipating a good run from the Galileo entire on seasonal debut.
A star stayer two years ago when unbeaten in six starts, four of them at the highest level, the chesnut missed most of last season after developing a serious infection in a joint.
Second in the Irish St Leger on his comeback, he filled the same spot at Ascot in October.
O'Brien told journallst Dave Keena: "He's a lovely relaxed horse and he only does what he has to do at home but he's moving very well.
"Everyone else that's around him are very happy with him and we think we're in a much better place starting than we were starting last year. I couldn't be happier with him really other than he's very lazy and just goes through the motions at home but I'm looking forward to getting him started.
"The plan was to go to Navan, then go to Leopardstown (Saval Beg Stakes) and then the Gold Cup, so hopefully everything will keep going well.
"We think he's fit enough. He will improve, obviously, because he hasn't run but he's not unfit and is well ready for the run so we 'd be hoping that he'll run a very big race."
