Oh so smooth from Jesse Evans in Gowran opener
He came back from Listowel so well that we decided to turn him out again fairly quickly. He only lost three kilos and he put them on in a few days,. He’s now won his bumper and maiden hurdle so we’ll give him a little time before he goes for something else. He jumps quick. I don’t know how he will handle heavy ground but Sean said that was borderline quick enough for him. He’ll go for a winners’ race somewhere.
Exciting finish sees One Down make winning hurdles debut
I think he just idled a bit. He jumped well and is a grand horse that will win his races,. I’d say he’ll go on most types of ground but probably doesn’t want extremes. He might be more a handicap horse than a Graded horse.

Hannon strikes form after switching yards
I wasn’t fully sure why he hadn’t been running well to be honest. He worked very well since he came to us. I’m really delighted to get that for Derek (Kierans, owner) who has been a supporter of mine for about five years and we haven’t had a winner together for a while. The ground came right for him and my mare in the previous race. It’s unlikely that we’ll get that again but you never know. I’m not sure where we will go next but it’s great to get that win today. Rhythm Divine (second to Buildmeupbuttercup in the previous Listed mares hurdle) ran a blinder. Maybe she was flattered to get so close to the other mare but we’re happy to get another Listed place under her name.
Odds of 33/1 don't stop Important Message getting through
He had a snotty nose the day after his last run so I was able to draw a line through it. He worked very well last week and I knew he was back to himself,. I told Danny to be handy and use his stamina. I thought coming off the Flat that he was a doubtful stayer but now it looks like he’s a real tough stayer. He’s a good ground horse and we have a nice handicap mark on the Flat so if the ground does go against us we’ll be going to Dundalk with him.
2 runners and 2 Listed winners at Gowran for Willie Mullins team
It’s great and my mother bred her so well done to her. She’s not easy at home and Jason Deer has done a lot of work massaging her,.
