Edison Kent shines in Killarney opener
Darasso wins easily for O'Brien and Walsh
He is funny because he always seemed to love heavier ground but recently hasn't finished out his races and maybe that better ground suited. Mark said he rode him handier and more positively and he did it well. We tried him over three miles on heavy ground and probably didn't see it out. Maybe a couple of the others underperformed, the likes of Darver Star but it is nice to get his head in front again.

Winning spare for Sexton on Bolger's Shady Operator
He was to go in the La Touche but the ground was a bit quick for him and we knew they'd have a good job done on the ground here. It is hard luck on Darragh (O'Keeffe), who has to get a stitch on his eye lid (after getting a bang in the face riding third-placed Esthers Marvel in the third race). Kevin gave him a peach of a ride and they were in unison together. That's his second time riding for us and his first winner. We'll follow these races around now for the summer.
Quick double for Bolger with Staker Wallace
He had to work hard and that's him finished for the season. He had a hard race at Naas, has been to Cheltenham and Punchestown and while there is a race for him at Listowel (in June), he'll go on his break now. He is unfortunate to be around at the same time as Billaway who is just better than him. We'll get him home now for the summer and aim for the same again next season.
Banbridge takes bumper to complete a double for Joseph
He showed a lot before his first run and had finished second to Undersupervision in a point-to-point and he has won a novice hurdle for Nigel Twiston Davies. He got very tired on bottomless ground at Thurles so they waited on better ground today and dropped him in. Joseph said to Tom that this guy has more gears than you'd think and he has shown it today and quickened away well. It might not have been the greatest race in the world but you'd like the way he did it and he is a beautiful jumper.
