Bay Hill justifies favouritism in Listowel opener
It's great to get a winner at Listowel and that's his seventh win for us and he's been a great horse. He has won five on the Flat and that's his second win over hurdles. He likes flat tracks and we'll keep him going now, why not. He ran well on the Flat at the Curragh and hopefully he might go back for a Flat race. There may be another hurdle or two in him too.

Cawley and Gilligan strike with Whatsafellatodo
He had a good run the last day and it made a man of him because he lugged in behind Gordon's horse and today Liam made use of him and sent him on and he was good and straight on the run-in. We'll talk to Jody (Daniels, owner) and see what the plan is now. We moved yard in March and that's three winners on the track now. We have 10 in and have a couple of babies so it will be Christmas time before we're properly up and going.

Brex quickly follows-up on Kilbeggan success
He handled that soft ground fine and has plenty of form on very soft on the Flat so hopefully he'll have a nice winter ahead of him. He stayed well but could also come back to two miles and I'll aim for something similar.

We were initially aiming to go point-to-pointing with him but he showed a little more than your normal point to pointer so we decided to run him in the Listed bumper at Limerick on his first run. He ran very well and we were delighted with him. He got a lovely ride and a nice education. We put him away straight away and left him out for the summer. I wasn't aiming for this but he started to work so well and was so fit. We brought him to the Curragh and Danny Mullins rode him and said 'Pat you have him 100 percent' and he said he'd run a big race. It easy to talk them up, but it takes a good horse to win the day you want to him to win. If he's not sold, he'll go to Navan for a Listed bumper. He jumps hurdles well but you'd want to see him over a fence!
