Job done for Dancing On A Dream
That's job done. She's been second a lot of times and she had been running very well for me,. I just thought this was an ideal opportunity. It's job done and if she gets claimed she gets claimed, that's what she's in there for. It's great to get that done. That's my first horse for the owner and he had another runner the other day, Chasing The Dawn, which was second in Galway. She runs in Cork on Saturday.
39/1 Bellewstown brace for Mrs Harrington and Foley
He had a good run around here but he didn't like the Curragh,. He was on the outside all the way up the Curragh and Shane couldn't get him to go at all. That's why we put the cheek-pieces on him and it probably helped him that they went very hard early on. He got time to get himself going. He took a while to get going and then he's won well at the end. He stayed well and he couldn't even pull him up. He's probably going to end up a mile-and-a-half horse. It's nice to have a winner for Mr Zhang. We'll see what the handicapper does with him now.
Rogers and O'Dwyer combine for a Bellewstown win with Clifftop
We've been a long time waiting. The horses have been working well but just not firing. They've started to come right in the last few weeks,. It's good for the young chap. Conor (O'Dwyer - his father and trainer of the 8th placer Raise The Tempo) let him off his own one to ride him. He's done everything right and he'll ride winners as he listens. This horse might win another one somewhere and we might go to Listowel with him.
High Altitude and Aaron Mackay continue in flying form
He's a brilliant horse, they don't make many like him, he's very very tough. He's seriously genuine and we're delighted to have him,. That's his grade and that's why we ran him back quickly. When he goes up he'll probably find it tough in the next grade. He's done enough for this year anyway and we're delighted with him. He's deserves a bit of a break now.
Phase After Phase much too good for Bellewstown rivals
He was rated like he should be able to win a maiden,. The cheek-pieces seemed to step him up, he was fairly sweet with me today and done things right. Hopefully he can improve from there. The quick ground is a big help to him and hopefully he can progress.
Brother wins at Bellewstown on the way to Laytown
It's great to see the old horse coming back. He's had issues and it's hard to keep everything right with him. We let him off for a break a couple of months and the aim was to get him back for Laytown. I said to Andy 'do the best you can to get into the frame today' otherwise we might not have got into Laytown with balloting. He's a 48 horse today but he was 102 at his best. It's good to see him back to a bit of form as he's been a great old servant. He runs well on the beach and has been a little bit unlucky the last twice there. He jumped the water last year and the year before probably got there a little bit soon and pulled himself up a bit. Hopefully he'll go close there now.
Malbas impresses in the Bellewstown finale for Hogan
That was very nice. He's been off all summer and I was worried that he wouldn't be ready today,.
