Clonmel Thu, 16th May, 2024  Flicker Of Hope He’s done it well. He came off the bridle a bit green coming down the hill but he battled back well coming up the hill and his jumping was much better today. Aidan said he was completely different over that style of hurdle and is something to look forward to. The ground has opened up a bit after a few showers and is lovely and safe. He’s a nice horse for the summer but just wouldn’t want to run him on too quick a ground.

Down Royal Sun, 17th Mar, 2024  Jacenry My lad was very tough, he put his head down and he galloped. I'm delighted, it is always great to get a winner for the 'home' team!. He seemed to hit the line really well the last day and we were pretty confident coming here stepping up in trip. A bit of nicer ground helped him too. Hopefully he can go again, but he's a nice prospect to have. I probably just ended up there a little bit sooner than I would have liked. I would have liked a lead down to the last but, in fairness when the other horse came to me, he was game and he rallied really well. I think we will keep him at that (trip) for the minute. He's still only a five-year-old and I'd say he is still a bit weak, so hopefully he can improve with time.
