- A very competitive start to the card. FORCHESTER (7) is better than the last run would suggest and can bounce back to score with Blinkers on. WHISTLE AND FLUTE (10) was not beaten by far over this track and trip last time out and can go one better this time. PUREST TIME (2) could be returning to best form and was not disgraced last time out. WILD WEST (1) was a good winner last time out but carries a 4kg penalty this time.
- An interesting race. ROSE JAIPUR (1) tries this surface and handicap company for the first time but did look good last time out. BLUSH (4) flopped in Group company last time out but has won over this course and distance and should be a real threat. PRINCE A RIO (2) and PURPLE MOOD (5) are both in very good form and it would not be a surprise if either of them were to win again.
- INTUITION (8) is better on this surface and could be good enough to win in this division. ALVAR (10) makes an official debut and can contest the finish. VIADEIPISPINI (4) flopped last time out but is better on the PSF and could contest the finish. RUE DES ORTEAUX (1) probably needs to do better to win this race but is capable of making the frame.
- Another very competitive race, this time a claimer. PERDRIOLLE (15) struggled in a handicap last time out but was the winner when last seen in this division. ALREHB (3) bounced back to best with a course and distance claimer win last time out and deserves respect for that. DREAM FOR ALL (2) and BAKHCHISARAY (1) have both done well in this division and are capable of fighting out the finish.
- Not too many that can be written off from winning this. SCARFACE (6) does get the vote to score and he has been very consistent of late. GAILLARD (2) is threatening a first success and should be right there at the finish yet again. KING ROBBE (3) carries a penalty for his latest win but looks much improved and deserves the utmost respect. DROIT DE PAROLE (1) is unreliable but could break a long losing run.
- BLACKBIRDFLY (2) has struck a purple patch of form and is coming off two very nice handicap wins. It will be a test this time under a 3kg penalty but he may well pull it off. TREASURE KEEPER (6) has yet to win a race but was not disgraced when fourth last time out in a handicap and can go closer this time. MARCAN (4) can do better than his disappointing recent form. MISS SUPERNOVA (15) is also capable of improvement.
- CLOTILDA (1) showed marked improvement last time at this track on only her second start when a promising second in a Class 3 hurdle. She can keep progressing and looks like the likely winner here. MISS ALTEA BLUE (5) is possibly the main threat. She showed promise on her only start at Auteuil in late March and will know more this time. KADOVER (3) is already a winner by 7L on her hurdle debut and can not be overlooked. TIDE OF DREAMS (6) looks interesting on debut.
- A small field with plenty of the line-up having some sort of a chance of winning. EARLY MIST (1) has performed well on both starts so far and is the selection. His main rival could be HACKER DU BERLAIS (5) who shaped well last time when fourth at Nantes in mid-April. LUMINO BELLO (4) won the Nantes race and is also one to pay attention to. MESSY (2) warrants respect and would not be a surprise winner.
- KISS LANGY (5) jumped well in the main on her chase debut last time and might edge this over her likely main threat KISS KISS (7) who was possibly a better hurdler than the selection and if jumping well she could be a problem. JOYEUSE ALLEN (4) has fair form and ran well in a Class 2 hurdle at Auteuil last time. She warrants respect on her chase debut. KACHA (3) makes up the shortlist.
- FIRST DREAM (5) can bounce back to form in this drop in class and score from likely main danger MATNIGHT (3) who was a good second over hurdles three runs ago at Auteuil in a claimer in late March. ZAPOROGUE (4) is one to watch closely in this type of race. He was third in a stronger race last time at Auteuil. PIRIAC (6) is also one to consider for a place.
- SPES MILITURF (1) was third last time behind UNCHECKABLE (5) when they met on April 3rd over 4100m. He could get revenge today at the expense of his old rival. It is an interesting race because GAGE DE REUSSITE (3) split the pair of them that day and is once again sure to make things interesting at the business end. KASHDAM (6) also warrants respect and will make his presence felt.
- AUTHENTIQUE COTTE (4) ran a good race last time when second and can go one better this time in what looks like a competitive race. MELLE APRIL (3) has been in top shape and is looking for a hat-trick of wins. He can once again be involved at the business end. JEANNE DE GUYE (5) looks like a fair each-way option after a credible spin over hurdles last time. GRAND CLERMONT (2) is capable of making his rivals work hard for success.
- KINGPARK (1) was highly tried in a Listed hurdle last time and will be more at home in calmer waters this time. He is given the vote ahead of SHAZAM (2) who ran well when fourth last time and will be once again involved at the finish. KIDNAPPEUR (5) has shown talent and can only keep on improving with race experience. BEAU DINO (3) is capable of making the frame after a couple of below-par efforts of late.
- FRAGA HAS (1) holds strong claims of getting a hat-trick of wins in cross-country races after scoring at this track last time in early April. HIGH CITY (6) was second in the same race as the selection last time and looks like the main threat. DONNE LE CHANGE (2) is trying a cross-country for the first time and warrants respect if taking to this new code. ISAGIRL (4) makes up the shortlist.
- KING STALLION (7) was imperious when bouncing back to something of his best in winning over this course and distance a week ago, and is good value to follow up with another victory here on the evidence of that display. KLASSIC FROMENTRO (5) is most effective in this shoeing configuration(barefoot) so is capable of challenging for race honours, while KARNA DES BAULTS (4) also has the means to get involved if confirming the improvement of his last start. KROME (8) is another with legitimate ambitions to finish on the podium.
By John O'Riordan - SLIM MARVEL, who finished third in a mares maiden hurdle here last month, has every chance of going two places better. The six-year-old is somewhat unfortunate to be starting the new season still without a win, as she only went down by a nose when looking all over a winner at Wexford in November. The Andrew Slattery-trained mare won't get many better opportunities. With John Ryan one of the leading trainers at this venue, his representative Drumgill has to be of interest. Although well beaten in a competitive affair at Punchestown last week, the five-yea-old had earlier finished runner-up at Bellewstown. Wandering Rocks, a winner on the flat when trained in Britain, looks another live contender for trainer Bill Durkan.
By John O'Riordan - NEW BARN LANE may be worth chancing on his debut for trainer Conor O'Dwyer. The seven-year-old undoubtedly has the ability to win a race of this nature but tends to pull much too hard. If O'Dwyer has managed to settle the son of Getaway, then he would have strong claims around a tight track which should suit his prominent racing style. Spick And Span, who was twice runner-up in maidens at this track a couple of years back, isn't without her chance. The Aidan Howard-trained mare has been off the racecourse since last September so her fitness has to be taken on trust. Handicap debutant Inthenickoftime, who like the latter also carries the J.P. McManus colours, is open to plenty of improvement.
By John O'Riordan - The Willie Mullins-trained SUPERSUNDAE can score on just his second start for the champion trainer. The fact Mullins ran the five-year-old in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle on his initial outing suggests that the former French trained gelding must have been showing up well at home. Beaten just over ten lengths at the festival, he should find this a formality. Point-to-point winner Marv Michael has twice reached the frame in maiden hurdles, achieving a rating of 112 in the process. Ordinarily that might well be good enough to win a country maiden but the Henry De Bromhead-trained six-year-old looks to have bumped into one here. Kilkee Bay looks one that can make the frame for trainer Gordon Elliott.
By John O'Riordan - CAPTAIN JIMMY, who returned to form with an emphatic success at this track last month, can follow up. The Pat Kelly-trained veteran went clear on the run-in to win easily by five lengths. Although subsequently hit with an 8lb rise, the 11-year-old could well be capable of overcoming that hike in what looks an ordinary race. A dual winner here in 2022, It's Time Again was no match for Captain Jimmy when back in third in the aforementioned race. However, given that the David Barry-trained mare was having her first start in over a year, she might be capable of getting much closer on these revised terms. Mac's Xpress disappointed when sent to Stratford last time but on the balance of his Irish form the Paul Gilligan-trained six-year-old holds claims.
By John O'Riordan - COILLTE ARIS, who went close in two stronger races at Naas recently, can get off the mark. The Sonny Carey-trained mare takes a further step up in trip, something that her breeding suggests should suit. Having had just the six starts in her career, she remains open to progression this season. Any Day Now was a winner at Sligo when last seen back in October. The 6lb rise subsequently inflicted by the handicapper is largely offset by Liam Quinlan claiming 5lb here. Former Listowel bumper runner-up Song For My Father reverts to hurdling here after two starts over fences. The Ross O'Sullivan-trained gelding had some decent maiden runs that would give him a chance of sorts in this lesser company.
By John O'Riordan - Former Grade 1 winning hurdler ZENTA can strike on just her second start over fences. The Willie Mullins-trained five-year-old shaped with plenty of promise when third in a Grade 2 Novice Chase in Cork before Christmas. The ex-French trained filly will find this assignment much easier, while the better ground should also be in her favour. Magnor Glory, a winner here over hurdles, looks one of the chief dangers. The Terence O'Brien-trained gelding had some smart form over flights last season, including when runner-up in a Listed race at Killarney. Provided he takes to the larger obstacles, the eight-year-old can get competitive. Charlie Luciano, who made all when winning here last August, has also proven his ability to handle this track.
By John O'Riordan - The Denis Hogan-trained HENNING is sure to be well primed for this first visit to her owners local track. The seven-year-old, who is a three-time winner over hurdles, can race off a 9lb lower mark in this discipline. The fact that the daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar ran her best race over fences on her reappearance augers well on this return from another break. A winner here over hurdles, Presenting Lad commands plenty respect given his liking for the track. It would be no surprise to see the Mark McNiff-trained gelding take a step forward on his two previous runs over fences. At the foot of the weights, Ricky Langford catches the eye for the in-form Philip Rothwell yard.
By John O'Riordan - The patience of connections of the well-bred SORRENTINO can be rewarded in this finale. Sent off a warm favourite for a bumper at the Punchestown Festival last year, the gelding unseated before halfway. Having resisted the temptation to return to the County Kildare venue last week, Willie Mullins can see his six-year-old gain compensation here. Kate Knows Best was runner-up on her racecourse debut at Gowran Park in February before running below par at that same track the following month. Given plenty of time to cover, she can show her true ability now. Fatal Flaw is worth a second look in the betting market given that his trainer Johnathan Sweeney is well able to ready one for a bumper.
By Michael Graham - Fozzy Stack's newcomer UNEXPECTED ISSUES has to be of interest as a sister to the stable's good horse Castle Star. He won at Group 3 level and was runner-up in the Group 1 Middle Park at Newmarket, and he handled cut in the ground. Aidan O'Brien's Churchill filly Heavens Gate is an obvious danger. She doesn't have any fancy entries, but there are plenty of winners in her pedigree. Cradle Of Love holds a Listed entry at Redcar and wasn't beaten far into third on debut at Dundalk. She was scratched from a Naas contest because of slower ground, though. Noel Meade's Ribchester colt Lethimfly is well worth a check for market strength.
By Michael Graham - EMERALD HARMONY is a potential improver from her debut sixth at Cork. She kept on well in the final furlong and could appreciate this ground as it won't be as testing. Back Down Under flopped when last seen in Dundalk but, prior to that, was placed five times on turf including in the valuable Birdcatcher at Naas. Ojw Legacy has been placed on all three starts to date, so is sure to be popular. She got closer to the breakthrough on her last outing in Dundalk when beaten by a neck. Beatrix Power is a sister to a seven-time winner, so is worth a market check on debut.
By Michael Graham - Ken Condon saddled his first winner of the season in Naas last week and has prospects with VERACIDAD. This filly was placed three times off higher marks last season and is very much at home on rain-softened ground. Velvet Skies is running consistently well with three runner-up berths in a row. His latest effort came in a higher grade and Wesley Joyce eases his welter burden by 5lb, so the pair should be right on the premises. Artful Approach can build upon his fourth over CD last month. It was quite a drop in trip for him, but he took to sprinting as he put in plenty of good late work in that big field.
By Michael Graham - UN BACIO ANCORA ran a stormer on her return to turf in the Curragh last month. She was just pipped in third, by a short head and a neck, in that massive field after attracting support. The horse behind her in seventh came out and won in this grade at Sligo last Sunday. Step Back In Time has a CD victory to her name and ran well for a long way when sixth on seasonal reappearance here last month. My Girl Sioux is a long-standing maiden, but is capable of picking up a cheque while Stanhope competes off a very lowly mark with Keithen Kennedy's claim factored and he does love Navan.
By Michael Graham - NEPTUNES STAIRCASE wouldn't be winning out of turn and gets first-time cheekpieces after three consecutive runner-up finishes. He is proven over this trip as he was just held by a neck over C%26D in October. Zoffman put in a satisfactory seasonal reappearance when third over a slightly shorter trip at this track in April. He was good enough to finish second in a premier handicap at the Curragh last summer. Bay Of Sanibel is up in class, but won her maiden over C%26D and was narrowly beaten at this track last month. Minella Mate is returning from a lengthy absence, but was in decent form in August and September.
By Michael Graham - UNCANNY was a real eye-catcher on debut at the Curragh. She got going late and stayed on strongly, but was unable to reel in the winner who had flown. She looks the one to beat granted normal improvement. In addition, she holds a couple of Grade 2 entries this month and in June. Concluding Call showed ability in two spins on the Polytrack in Dundalk and she performed creditably in fourth on turf debut at the Curragh. Quantum Light looks exposed after 14 outings, but has been placed on six occasions and has a shot at more prize money.
By Michael Graham - Jazz Forever is the starting point having returned to action with a ready success over a similar trip at Dundalk last month. He is yet to show that he wants rain-softened ground, though, so preference is for Tony Martin's PALO DURO. He could make an impact off a mark of 67 in his first handicap having showed improvement in third in a Down Royal maiden. No Trouble has returned to John McConnell who he previously had success for. Colin Keane has been enlisted, so a big run wouldn't be surprising. Rampage is another to consider as he tries this trip for the second time.
By Michael Graham - ARBAAWI has been a decent recruit for Tom McCourt as evidenced by a victory and a placed effort in Dundalk. Crucially, he has winning form on slower ground from his career in Britain, so should be a leading contender under 5lb-claimer James Ryan. Duleek Street has been hurdling, but could give David Egan a good spin off a mark off 55 on his return to the level. Tara Power stayed on in third when last seen in Dundalk and could get involved as she has snippets of form on turf. Elsa's Pride has ability, and winning form from Cork, but would prefer better ground on her seasonal reappearance.
- State Of Bliss was well held in fourth in a class 4 event at Huntingdon last time, but he is now 2lb lower and will appreciate this drop in grade. However, the vote goes to L'IMPERTINENT, who has failed to fire since joining the Oliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero stable, but he switches to hurdles and takes a sizeable drop in grade. The son of Fame And Glory could prove too good for these, while Phoebe's Charm rates next best.
- Point-to-point winner SEEYOUINMYDREAMS makes only her second start over the smaller obstacles after running too bad to be true when pulled up at Newbury in November. Paul Nicholls' six-year-old has undergone wind surgery since and, provided she can settle better, she looks the one to beat. La Gomera was well beaten in handicap company at Hereford in January, but she has to be considered back in a maiden, while Mountain Lake is another to watch out for.
- KINGS JUSTICE had Kankin (third) behind by five lengths when filling the runner-up spot in this grade at Hereford last month and he only has a 3lb higher mark to contend with. The son of Pether's Moon remains on a workable mark and he looks the way to go. As for the latter, he is 4lb better off with the selection, so he ought to get closer, while School For Scandal is interesting with Harry Cobden booked.
- Now that the penny has dropped for TIP TOP TONTO after an easy success over C&D last month, there should be plenty more to come from the son of Milan and he can overcome a 6lb rise for his in-form connections. Success may come at the main expense of top-weight Jolyjump, who was a taking winner himself over shorter at Taunton on his handicap bow. Soir De Gala is another to consider.
- A tentative vote goes to the veteran COURT MASTER, who looks just the type that will relish this sort of test judged on his penultimate effort at Cheltenham when staying on late over 3m1f. The son of Court Cave has been lightly raced since joining Neil Mulholland and he is narrowly preferred to Trincomalee, who was an encouraging second at Sandown in February. Course winner Jigginstown King is noted too.
- A winner of two of his last three starts in the point-to-point sphere, TREVADA sets the standard on his first run under Rules for the Francesca Poste team. Jockey Zac Baker retaining the ride is a big plus and the eight-year-old should have too much for the in-form pointer Court Cian, as well as Precious Bounty, who finished fourth in a better race at Stratford last time.
- Last-time-out winners Carrigmoorna Rowan and Magical Escape are obvious contenders despite picking up penalties, with the latter preferred of that pair given he stayed on in a pleasing manner when scoring at Chepstow last month. However, PATRIOTIK, who sets the standard on the official ratings, could be the way to go on this occasion. The selection had plenty in hand when winning over 2m4f at this venue in March and is taken to flourish further with the step up in trip a likely source of improvement.
- A wind operation seemed to have revitalised SHILLANAVOGY when he won at Hereford in April and the six-year-old can kick on from competitive mark on just his third start in a handicap. Twyford's Diamond doesn't have much to find to win a race of this nature and can give the selection the most to think about if she handles the step back up in trip. Everyonesacritic and Crossbeau are others fancied to be on the premises in this company.
- A bold showing from Shillanavogy in the previous race would significantly bolster the worth of IONITY'S second-placed finish to that rival at Hereford last month and, off just 2lb higher, this could be a good time to catch the Evan Williams-trained five-year-old. Rocky Hill was in touch with the leaders when he fell in that race and can go close if his jumping holds together this time. Walkinthewoods has C&D experience and cannot be ruled out at this level.
- JESSIE LIGHTFOOT returned to winning ways over 3m2f at Taunton a couple of weeks ago and Henry Oliver's mare merits the utmost respect off just a 4lb higher mark here. Santa Clarita hit the crossbar at this venue last time and is likely to be in the mix once again, while Ask Lileen and Hamartia are others who make the shortlist.
- NATIVE MOON displayed promise in novice/maiden hurdles and it would be no surprise to see the six-year-old make a winning handicap debut off what appears to be a workable opening mark. Blackacre is an obvious threat to the selection after his second over 3m2f at Fontwell last time, while Bridget Mary edges out Optimistic Joe and Face D'music to be best of the rest.
- Shareef Star had some good form over fences in 2022 and although pulled up here over hurdles after a 578-day layoff, he is one to consider with that race under his belt. Hooky Street could also go well with Harriet Dickin's horses running to form, but the vote goes to BULLETS HILL. The winner of his last two starts over hurdles, he is bred to be just as good or better over fences and could surprise them all.
- GOOD IMPRESSION is the only C&D winner in the field and although he is now rated 91, he may strip fitter after his Uttoxeter sixth which was his first start in six months. He can go well and may have most to fear from the lightly-raced Thatza Dazzler, who reverts to hurdles after a good second here last month over fences. State Of Honor and Cocardier are others to consider.
- The versatile SANITISER has shown promise in his previous starts over hurdles and is presented with a good opportunity to get off the mark on his seventh start in this discipline. A respectable third in a similar type of race at Kempton last month, the five-year-old can be a force in this company if he carries the momentum forward. Mambo Beat is dangerous to underestimate from the foot of the handicap, while Ellerton is another with a solid each-way chance dropping back down in class here.
- The consistent STAY IF U WANT TO has a good chance of building on a couple of second-placed finished over hurdles and, on the back of chasing home a progressive type over an extended 2m3f here in March, the son of Soldier Of Fortune looks well worth a try back down in trip. Ikigai Star showed promise on his hurdles bow at Fakenham last month and warrants a second look, while Pub Crawl and Lunanera represent notable yards on their first starts under NH Rules.
- BIG BLUE MOON has a good chance to prove that his Warwick success was not a one-off performance and, with only slightly longer yardage and similar underfoot conditions forecast, a 4lb higher mark might not be enough to prevent Tom Lacey's representative from following up. My Chiquita is an obvious threat back under this code and is likely to give a good account in her bid to extend her unbeaten record over hurdles, while Notnowlinda is also a big threat now she drops back down in class.
- COOLEENYMORE may not have been able to land the double at Exeter last month, but she has the potential to improve for going up in trip and looks the one to beat for a stable that has a good record here. A determined winner at Catterick on her penultimate start, Mistral Nell must enter calculations, along with Chatshow Host, who has been runner-up on two of her last three starts.
- A slightly unlucky second over C&D last month when hampered by a faller two out, PILOT SHOW could be primed to strike for the first time since December 2022. Warren Greatrex's charge has been dropped another pound for that effort and that may be enough to see off the returning Can't Beat History, who could not have won an easier over C&D last October. Gazette Bourgeoise and Heaven Smart have the form to get involved in proceedings as well.
- FERRYBRIDGE may have disappointed at Kempton last time out but he is best judged on his success two starts ago at Huntingdon when easily seeing off the reopposing Iorens (second), who is now 4lb better off. Lilly Pincin getting back on board should aid the six-year-old's cause and it may be that Jet Of Dreams gives him the most to think about on his second run back from wind surgery after an encouraging second at Market Rasen.
- HAVOCK has to shoulder top-weight for the Skelton team, but caught the eye on his chasing debut at Ffos Las when running well for a long way to finish fifth. Dropped 3lb by the handicapper and upped a furlong, he is entitled to find this company more to his liking. Cokytho has some solid placed form to his name and could be interesting if recent wind surgery brings improvement, while Fast Deal won over further last month and won't be stopping late on.
- Taste The Fear could prove popular here after his C&D success last month, but he won by less than a length that day and an added 4lb from the handicapper looks prohibitive. ERNEST GRAY has also been successful over this C&D and was a length second at Doncaster in March. With the going ideal, he can go well for the in-form Alan King yard, while Minella Double is only six and may have more to offer.
- Briery Bee might be the obvious pick after her second at Fakenham last month when beaten less than a length at the line. Roaring Home is another to consider seriously, but a chance is taken on GALE MAHLER. Sent off favourite on her Sedgefield debut, she had to be switched for a run a furlong out, and again close home, so was possibly an unlucky loser.
- EITHER WAY was second on her only start between the flags in Ireland and it would be no surprise to see the five-year-old make a winning Rules debut here. Yesanna cost 88,000 pounds as a store and she is closely related to plenty of winners, including the Grade 3-placed hurdler Tedham. Barrabool and Made For Me are the pick of those with racecourse experience but could be vulnerable.
- In a moderate event it is hard to oppose ASCENSION DAY, who was second in maiden hurdle over C&D a month ago, albeit well held. A reproduction of that form would give him a big chance on his handicap debut here. Mersey Street was not disgraced at Taunton last time and may have more to offer, while similar comments apply to Marrakushi.
- Therapist has yet to show her Flat form over hurdles but cannot be discounted on her first start in a handicap. That said, preference is for ORBYS RIVER, who has filled second place off this mark on two of her last three starts and this appears to be an ideal opportunity to go one better. Others to note are Common Acclaim, Illucidate and Duneomeno.
- SOLAR SYSTEM scored by just over two lengths in a class 5 event at Fontwell last month and he only has a 6lb higher mark to contend with. The son of Pastorius makes only his third handicap start and he could have plenty more to offer. The main danger is Fierce Warrior, who is a bumper/maiden hurdle winner making his handicap debut off a workable mark of 110, while Allbetsoff is another to note.
- Point-to-point winner Eaton Anne changed hands for 25,000 pounds in December and it would be no surprise to see him get involved on his debut for the in-form Olly Murphy team. However, the vote goes to NEW ORDER, who was a long way clear of the third when second at Market Rasen last month, despite jumping left throughout. Charlie Longsdon's six-year-old may benefit from this left-handed track and he should have no issues with this drop in distance, while any market confidence behind Mostly Sunny would also be interesting.
- MIA ANTONIA has been progressive of late and is taken to add to her breakthrough success gained at Fair Grounds in March. Steal Me Over, Certified Gem and Smart Izzy are hard to split on form and they should all go well.
- SPARKIN can be tough to reel in when he sets the fractions and could have this at his mercy if he sets about making this a speed test. Alterana looks the pick of the rest, although Rap Artist can also figure.
- CAROLINA JACY may be the best of these at the weights and, if the blinkers have the desired affect, she could come out on top. Rona Vision, Cupie Cutie and Aurora Australis are all entitled to have some say in the result on their better efforts.
- Atomic Rose ran on well into second last time and if she can get rolling earlier she could prove a huge danger to ESSENTIAL BUSINESS. Placed twice in more valuable contests in 2024, she may be able to make the most of the weaker opposition here. She'smysmokeshow and Ourperfectprincess might battle it out for third.
- A very poor race but that wont bother the connections of the winner, with STAR READY as likely as any if we forgive him a lacklustre run last time. Little Warrior and Skinny Bobby may be best of the rest.
- IRONIT must hold every chance if bouncing back to the form that saw her finish second at Fair Grounds on her penultimate start. Others to note include Miss Kennedy, Money Well Spent and Ours And Theirs.
- ZONG TOUGH has been knocking on the door of late and this looks like a good opportunity to regain the winning thread. Fast Verdict and Into Wishing need considering as well.
- WILDCAT PRIDE and Harsh Truth both look capable of succeeding at this level, with slight preference for the former's lightly-raced profile. Tadzio can chase the duo home.
- ANGIE'S DEAR ONE (fourth) had Nancyfromtheblock (fifth) behind over an extended 5f here last time and she can confirm that form to get off the mark. Newcomer Coral Rivers is another to consider.
- C C'S CLEAR CREEK has been mixing it in much deeper contests than this and he could capitalise on this easier assignment. Twelve Minus One and Jimmy Junga are others to keep an eye on.
- LITTLE RONS ROCKET beat Stars N Space (fourth) when filling the runner-up spot over track and trip last month and he can go one better. Animo Roberto completes the shortlist.
- DESTINO has faced stiffer tests than this and looks worth chancing in this company, although O Romeo and The Red Man are both capable of making this tough for the selection.
- Drilin' For Gems, Go Tothe Principal and STRIKING LAD have all recently faced some stiff opposition, but the latter appeals most switched back to this venue.
- Poker Partner and Buehler's Day Off both have strong claims but this trip might give the advantage to MIDNIGHT MAJESTY, who has been knocking on the door of late.
- DANES LAST SONG gets the vote after her win last time at Mahoning Valley, while Mobil Memory and Better Half are the pick of the remainder.
- BULLEIT ROCKS shed her maiden tag in fine style over C&D last time and she can go in again. Predicting and Stone Cold Lover could also get involved.
- HACKER recorded a fourth win in a row on his latest outing and while he is in this sort of form, he could prove very difficult to beat. Box Seat and Lapis Lazuli also merit consideration.
- GURL YOU FINE won well last time and she can remain very hard to beat, while Bayshore Foxes and Bring It On Baby may give her the most to think about.
- Easy Big Boy and Assumption have sound chances but they may have to settle for supporting roles if COMMANDER REX continues to thrive.
- Sinnin N Grinnin and THETRUTHISTHETRUTH both drop in grade and there is little to split them, but the latter is perhaps the more effective at this trip and shades a narrow vote. Mamashavnahotflash completes the shortlist.
- SUPERHERO and Kissofthenile set the standard but the former is the one to be with given he has far more scope for progression. Deposit Insurance and Breakable Code are notable debutants to monitor in the betting.
- This looks a closely-matched contest with Candy's A Dandy, Short Stretch, Aunt Lottie, and Hot Lips Houlihan all entitled to have some say, but they may have to give way to LOW EURO CAT if they all get a clear run. Second on both starts since winning her maiden, she deserves a change of luck and may get one now.
- If the formbook is upheld then this is all about TAKE ME SERIOUS, who has already been successful at this level and won three of her last four starts. If she has an off day, then Kachina seems likeliest to take advantage, with Doudoudouwanadance a tentative choice for the minor placing.
- A closely matched contest for the money, but one that may fall the way of DIAMONDS R LUCKY, who ran his best race yet last month, and may try to make all here. E D'oro is an interesting alternative after an unlucky run behind the selection, and he may get the better of Abes Day in the race for second.
