Reports in which Horsesain Bolt (IRE) was mentioned
Halford predicts more to come from Curragh winner Karasi
The money came for the other Aga Khan runner Sherkali (7/2 into 5/2 favourite) but it was Karasi (4/1) that came to the fore in the finale on 2,000 Guineas day, the New Curragh Handicap. Sat 25th MaySuper impressive from I Am
I Am Superman blitzed his rivals in the Blackwater Handicap, scoring under Leigh Roche for Michael O'Callaghan. Mon 29th Apr2 for Halford and McCullagh at Dundalk at 32/1
A 32/1 Dundalk brace was completed for Michael Halford and Niall McCullagh in division one of the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Handicap as La Novia justified the confidence of those that backed her from 6/1 into 5/1 favouritism. Fri 23rd NovHalford's Karasi wins on 1st start since August
It took a long time before either Karasi (9/2) or Tallien (16/1) would give an inch but the former eventually came out on top after an exciting conclusion to the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Dundalk. Fri 23rd NovMcCullagh-Halford partnership has double chance at Dundalk
Niall McCullagh has a promising book of rides on Dundalk’s eight-race card. Fri 23rd NovThird time lucky for Third World
Moyglare Stud Farm colt Third World made it third time lucky in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Killarney. Wed 22nd AugCruciatus makes the breakthrough in Curragh opener
Cruciatus got off the mark on his fourth start, as he justified favouritism in the opener at the Curragh, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden. Mon 06th Aug
After race at Dundalk Fri, 23rd Nov, 2018 (1st)
He had good form and he was a bit weak in himself and he sort of grew a bit and that. We sort of gave him a chance after Killarney,. There tonight they jumped out to go hard and then they steadied up and he would have preferred even a stronger gallop. He's very genuine and a very straightforward horse. I'm very happy with him as he is a good, honest, tough horse. I do (think he will make a good three-year-old), he's so laidback and easy-going and very adaptable and he'll get further no bother. It's just nice to get a two-year-old race won with him with the promise he showed earlier. We'll probably put him away now for the winter and go from there with him. We'll go a mile maybe starting off with him (as a three-year-old) but I'd say he'd be at his best hitting a mile and a quarter. I wouldn't say the race was totally run to suit him so I'd say he did well to do it.
