Adam Caffrey partnered his first treble when teaming up with boss Ado McGuinness for a 129/1 trio of winners at Dundalk capped by Exquisite Acclaim in the Sky Bet Acca Freeze Handicap.

The five-year-old has proved a grand servant to both Caffrey and McGuinness winning three times at the track this winter and was typically prominent throughout in this mile event.

The 11/4 favourite was switched right by Caffrey to lead early in the straight and despite drifting left over a furlong out, kept on well to score by half-a-length from the staying on Rockbury Lad Chavajod also came home well another half-a-length away in third.

Caffrey and McGuinness were also on the scoresheet earlier in the evening with Apache Outlaw (100/30fav) and Galician Girl (7/1).

Caffrey said, “I’m delighted and especially to do it for the boss who has been a great support to me over the past four years. I can’t thank him enough and all his owners.

“In fairness to the horse he’s put his head down and hit the line really hard.”

McGuinness said: "We gave a lot of money for him and he was a bit of a disaster when he started first. He was with Jessie and he ran in an Italian Guineas and in good races. Maybe he had an overly inflated rating at one stage and that can happen sometimes when you run these horses in Group races.

"He has come back down now and he has got confidence. He's tough and he's hardy, and he's really putting his head down. He has a bit of class to him. If he keeps improving, God only knows what will happen.

"I don't think the other horse (Shoot To Kill) got home, we'll drop him back in trip and hold him up."
