Domination exacted his revenge on his recent Galway Festival conqueror Edeymi when justifying strong market support to readily win the Cork Racecourse Social Package Social Package Hurdle at Cork today for trainer Charles Byrnes and jockey Rob Jones.

Edeymi beat Domination by a head in the prestigious Amateur Handicap at Galway on Monday but reverting to hurdling, Domination easily had Edeymi's measure.

Backed from 5/2 in the morning into 5/4 favourite, Domination improved to lead entering the home straight and ran on strongly from the second last to win eased by by eight lenghts from Edeymi.

Byrnes was absent but Jones did later mention “he loved the ground, travelled well and I sent him on early in the straight so the others wouldn't catch him for toe.

“He was very sticky jumping over two miles in the past when they were just going too fast for him and the step up to three miles definitely helped him.”
