Drombeg Dream the long-odds-on favourite, enjoyed a convincing win at Limerick with Shane Foley in the saddle.

She was prominent and ran freely before picking up the lead after a couple of furlongs.

The Arcano filly maintained the gallop before being given the office in the final furlong and she powered clear to hit the line six and a half lengths to the good.

She was returned at 8/15 from runner-up Wajeez at 9/1. The gambled-on Downtown Diva was a neck further away at 16/1 from 33s.

Trainer Augustine Leahy said: "Conditions were in her favour, she likes that ground and also likes to dictate.

"There's the Listed Garnet Stakes at Naas next Saturday over a mile for her next but whether it's too quick for her or not I'm not sure; we'll see if she's ok first."
