Easy for Fosters & Ruby up North
Fosters Cross and Ruby Walsh outclassed his four rivals in the Kwik Fit Insurance Elite Sales Managers Hurdle at Downpatrick.
Walsh was content to take his time on the Dr Massini gelding but once asked to go about his business from the back of the last the response from the nine-year-old was impressive as he strode on to beat Wikaala with Newmill back in third.
Successful trainer Tom Mullins said: "That was a well-deserved win. His last good run was at Fairyhouse and he didn't disgrace himself since when the ground was gone for him.
"The better ground here helped. We'll look at Fairyhouse with him now and I think on that ground he'll pick up more money again."
