Finger Onthe Pulse back with a bang

Sun 12th Oct 2008, 17:48

Paddy Flood substituted for the injured Barry Geraghty to win the Grade 3 Pricewaterhousecoopers Chase at Limerick today, on Cheltenham Festival winner Finger.

The son of Accordion raced in second before moving through to lead entering the straight, staying on well for a comfortable seven length win over Holly Tree

Afterwards winning trainer Tom Taaffe quipped "you don't win bad races at Cheltenham!"

He added "Finger Onthe Pulse is a smart horse and jumped very well today. He'll come on a good bit from that run and will run in the Killultagh Properties Chase at Down Royal next month."
