Local trainer Pat Flynn has no less than nine runners on the all-Flat Tramore programme and there will be disappointment if he does not start off with a winner.

His 92-rated Highly Toxic would appear to hold all the aces in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden.

Many are of the view that this year's Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial at Leopardstown was a top-quality renewal and the first three, Fascinating Rock, Ebanoran and Geoffrey Chaucer, are prominent in Epsom ante-post lists.

On start number four that day, Highly Toxic finished fifth of the six as a 100-1 chance, having made the running to a furlong and a half out. Asknotwhat is now tried in blinkers, but the 'blinds' will need to improve Peter Fahey's charge plenty as he is currently officially assessed as 17Ib inferior to Highly Toxic.

Flynn can also harbour hopes in the finale with the Katie Walsh-partnered Gusty Rocky in the Dunhill (Ladies) Maiden.

Sporting the familiar silks of the Flynn family from Dungarvan, the well-related Gusty Rocky is one of three from the trainer's Ballingara Stables in here, outsiders Creadan Mist and Rhinestone Cowgirl being the other pair.

Walsh is invaluable in this sort of contest and the Clonmel bumper winner could be given most to do by previous course scorer Passage Vendome Sizing Italy and Little King Robin

Elsewhere Kims Dream a course and distance winner, should have as good a chance as any, with Colin Keane up for the first time, in the August Festival 14th to 17th Rated Race.

Thirty five minutes later Glance Of Doon is one to bear in mind reappearing quickly after a Fairyhouse effort on Thursday evening. The step up in distance for the www.tramore-racecourse.com Handicap promises to suit.
