Gate Blossom's on debut
John Kiely, successful earlier with Oneeightofamile completed a double on the evening when Blossom Gate made an impressive debut in the bumper.
The daughter of Westerner was sent off an 8/1 chance, and sprinted clear from over a furlong out under Andrew Latta to beat Ontheground (9/2) by ten lengths. Craig Lea (25/1) was another two lengths back in third.
Kiely said: “She is a very game little filly, and has a good dam line. To be honest she surprised me a little there.”
