The Charlie Chute Memorial Maiden Hurdle Division 2 was won by the Jessie Harrington trained City Meaning with Barry Geraghty doing the steering for owners Whathappenedtomurphy Syndicate.

Eamon Leigh assisantant trainer to Jessie Harrington said, "He has been schooled well and he has come on a bit from his bumper run at Galway. He settled better today than he did in his bumpers. He is only a 4 year old and he's a big horse that needed time to strengthen up. We'll go for a winners of one or a handicap hurdle with him now."
