Trainer Michael O’Callaghan trained his fourth winner in six days when his Night Of Glory landed the Where Champions Are Made (C & G) Maiden at the Curragh today, scoring under Champion Jockey Pat Smullen.

The son of Sea The Stars produced a solid display to beat Wisconsin by three lengths and afterwards O’Callaghan said “I’d say he’s going to make into a lovely staying horse, and his last furlong was his best furlong.

“He’s still raw and he’s going to improve plenty from that. He might be even better with another year.

“I was thinking of something like the Gallinule for him but we’ll have to see.”

O'Callaghan's week began with the Smullen partnered Act Of Valour, successful at Roscommon on Monday, followed by wins at Dundalk both on Wednesday and Friday with Fastidious and Ma Fee Heela respectively.
