Go All The Way made an impressive start over fences when claiming the beginners chase at Killarney in style.

Davy Russell tracked leader Moncherie on the well-backed 11/10 favourite (9/4 in morning) before hitting the front at the fourth last.

Market rival Burn And Turn tried to throw down a challenge but cried enough as they bypassed the second last fence.

Go All The Way pulled clear with ease before the last and went on to record an 11-length win.

Jim Dreaper 's charge, who had finished fourth in the 2011 Cheltenham bumper, had been lightly raced since due to injury.

"He learned a lot today. He obviously handles a soundish surface and will probably go on better ground if neccessary," said Russell afterwards.

"He might struggle on heavy though because of the exuberance with which he races.

"It was his first run back and he probably had a lot of energy - he was lively."

The second last fence had to be omitted following the fall of Putintheboot at the first. The faller was none-the-worse after his tumble.
