The ground at Killarney is now soft on the chase course and heavy on the flat track following 7mm of rain since declaration time. Fresh ground is being used on the flat track.

Racing in Kerry gets under way at 5.15 this evening. There are seven races on the card - three chases to start with and then four on the flat.

Four runners go to post for the featured Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Median Auction Race for three-year-olds at 6.15.

All four are previous winners and although Dermot Weld's Secret Recipe is the highest rated, a good contest is expected over the extended mile trip.

Champion jumps trainer Willie Mullins has a rare runner on the flat in this race with Levanto who holds an entry in the Group 3 Noblesse Stakes at Cork in June.

Meanwhile, the going at Naas is yielding to soft after 1.7mm of rain overnight. The forecast is for sunshine and showers, some heavy and prolonged, both today and tomorrow.

Tomorrow's eight-race card at Naas starts at 5.15.
