The Donal Kinsella trained, owned and bred Ducky Mallon gained a second win in a fortnight when landing the Come Racing 24th September Handicap at Navan today, completing a double on the day for jockey Seamus Heffernan.
The son of Jeremy was successful at the Curragh a fortnight ago and while beaten in third at Roscommon in the interim, reappeared in fine fettle today, scoring a length and a quarter win over Feeling Easy
Afterwards Kinsella stated “he's done what we've asked him to do - in Roscommon he didn't see out the seven from a bad draw.
“He had a decent draw today, tucked in and did the stuff - you can't ask anymore than to win. He'll probably go to Listowel now.”
