Ringside Humour stuck on gamely in the closing stages to land the final race of the Derby festival meeting at the Curragh for Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning. Ayahuasca soon opened up a clear lead in the Troytown Grey Abbey Equine Hospital Handicap but was reeled in with three furlongs to run by Ringside Humour.

Manning kicked a few lengths clear on the 11/1 shot passing the two pole and she had enough in reserve in the closing stages to hold the late run of 7/4 favourite Eddystone Rock by a length.

The winner had scored on the all-weather at Dundalk back in January but had been well held on recent turf outings.

"She's entered at Sligo on Tuesday, and looks well in. She's tough and hardy, and takes her racing well,” said Bolger.
