Michael Hourigan trained his second winner in the month of October as a Galway double was completed for J P McManus and Barry Geraghty. Hash Brown did the needful for the trio in the Ennis Lifts Handicap Chase.

A son of Vinnie Roe, Hash Brown was following up on his win in this event from twelve months back and he found plenty in the closing stages for a four and a quarter length success over Dromnea

McManus and Geraghty had earlier combined to win the first with the Joseph O'Brien-handled Kalopsia

"He jumped great today but just spent a little too long in the air jumping the two fences in the dip. He was 2lbs higher than he was when he won this race last year and I didn't look beyond today with him," said Hourigan.

Regarding this his second winner in 12 months but also his second in the past fortnight, he quipped, "instead of on the cold list, I'm on fire now."

Martin Ferris was been taken to Galway University Hospital with a suspected fracture to his left tibia, following his fall from Another Rebel in this race.
