JP McManus holds a strong hand in the Carmel Fay Memorial Handicap Hurdle at Kilbeggan on Monday evening and his Princely Conn could prove the pick of the runners.

The owner is represented by Plinth Give Me A Break and Princely Conn with Barry Geraghty on the latter.

The Thomas Mullins-trained gelding found his form in Clonmel last month when winning for the first time since October 2014.

He followed up on that effort by staying on well for second in Punchestown at the start of this month and should be competitive off a mark of 133.

After a pair of runner-up finishes in Down Royal and over course and distance, Dove Mountain has a good opportunity to get off the mark in the two-mile Follow Kilbeggan Races On Facebook Maiden Hurdle. Consharon Boy has had a fantastic 2016 in winning a point-to-point, a bumper and a maiden hurdle. His confidence must be sky high when he lines up for the Mullingar & North Westmeath Vintners Association Novice Hurdle. Cadawill has been placed in his last two outings and ought to be the one to beat in the Hurley Family Handicap Hurdle. Davy Russell has been booked for the first time.

Gordon Elliott took the novice chase on the card last year with Akorakor and his Tiger Roll looks sure to be popular in this renewal.

The six-year-old gelding impressed when winning a beginners' chase in Ballinrobe by eight lengths. Glenwood For Ever is a former course winner with a shout in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Handicap Steeplechase. Rachael Blackmore has struck up a good association with him. Bensachuine and Golden Poet were both beaten a couple of lengths into third when last seen, so appear the pair to concentrate on in the Racing Again July 15th INH Flat Race.
