Kilmurry repeats the dose at Ballybrit
Kilmurry (at least 3/1 this morning into 7/4) again showed how well he has taken to the chasing game with a length and three parts success in the opening Deacy & Associates Novice Steeplechase at Galway.
The son of King's Theatre was victorious over the course and distance 27 days ago and again his quick and accurate jumping won the day as he scored by a length and three parts from Lady Hillingdon
Winning trainer Henry de Bromhead commented: "Two miles one is very sharp for him. Andrew (Lynch) said that they didn't go that fast a gallop but he didn't want to do all the donkey work. He needs to step-up in trip now and he could go for a Grade 2 at Tipperary over two and a half on October 3rd.
"We'll probably give him a break over the winter. He's won on soft before but he probably wouldn't want it really testing."
