Last gasp win for Gainford on Doldido

The 4/1 favourite Doldido got up in the final stride to win the Kenny Developments Handicap Chase.
Plenty were still in with a chance racing down to the final two fences and the winner gave chase to the leaders as he rounded the home turn.
Jordan Gainford just had to switch the grey off heels a furlong out and he stayed on well to collar Twilight Girl on the line and win by the minimum margin.
It was a first win over fences, to go with two over hurdles, for the 8-year-old by Oscar.
Winning owner/trainer Michael Winters said: "The ground was probably too tacky for him in Sligo (sixth over hurdles) because he had to pull himself out of it a bit.
“I said to Jordan today to let him fill himself up down the hill. When he sees horses around him he sulks a bit and he gave him a peach of a ride.
“He gave him a bit of light and then got up the inside turning for home.
“He has had plenty of runs and it's only his third win but he's there or thereabouts the whole time."
