Champion Trainer Willie Mullins registered a 1-2 in the opening Grade 1 Gala Retail Spring Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown today, scoring with the bigger priced Petite Parisienne (6/1) beating 5/4 favourite Kalkir

Kalkir was sent to the front rounding the home turn but Petite Parisienne, ridden by Bryan Cooper, quickened past the 'jolly' jumping the last, staying on strongly for a length and three parts win.

"That was a good prep run. I'm happy with both of them and both will go to Cheltenham for the Triumph" said Mullins.

"Hopefully both will improve from that and they are two nice horses to be going with. I also have Dicosimo who will go there as well."
