McDonogh at his best aboard Wikaala
Wikaala proved too strong for his rivals in the [email protected] Handicap at Dundalk this evening.
Declan McDonogh produced his mount to lead well inside the final furlong and he kept on well to score by two and a half lengths.
Winning trainer Gordon Elliott who is in Musselburgh at the moment said by phone: “I’m delighted for the owner Sean Gallagher he has been a good owner of mine.”
“We will probably bring him to Wolverhampton in ten days time as there is a race there for him.”
McDonogh also remarked: “He carried me all the way and he’s a horse heading the right way.”
