Declan McDonogh took Dundalk by storm this evening when partnering a 534/1 treble with the debut victory of Big Dynasty in the Irishinjuredjockeys.com Race adding to earlier success aboard Apache Outlaw and Sunset Nova
Big Dynasty attracted some support from as big as 16/1 earlier in the day going off at 15/2 and, like McDonogh’s previous two winners on the card, challenged on the outer in the straight.
The son of Almanzor was ridden to make headway over a furlong out and led in the final 100 yards to beat Barnso by a length, with 6/4 favourite Serious Notions holding every chance a head further away in third.
Winning trainer Joseph O’Brien was represented by his assistant Sean Corby who said: "He picked up well, he's a lovely big horse. They looked to go slow which probably wouldn't have suited him either.
"First run, obviously he is going to come on from the experience and he could be a horse to look forward to."
