Division one of the Callan Tansey Solicitors Handicap Hurdle at Sligo saw the Gold Well mare Miss Faithful gain a deserved second career success for owner Paul Doolin and trainer Peter McCreery.
Brian Hayes gave the successful eight-year-old a patient steer, and she led at the last on her way to a three and a half length win over Station Closed
Third home Lean Times (8s into 6s on track and from bigger earlier) rewarded those that were 'on' each-way, and he was a length and a quarter off the front pair at the finish.
"She has always been consistent and likes the good ground," commented McCreery.
"She'll probably go to Tramore next, in the first week of June, for another handicap hurdle."
