Nolan completes double

Sun 21st Aug 2011, 17:44

Trainer Paul Nolan completed a double at Ballinrobe today, completing the feat in the concluding Mask Pavilion Beginners’ Chase with Gala Dancer

Ridden by Paul Carberry, the son of Milan jumped well most of the way and ran out an effortless winner over Your Busy

Afterwards Nolan said “Ballinrobe is a grand place for a horse to get an introduction over fences and Gala Dancer also seems to be far sweeter since we put blinkers on.”

“He’s only quite a small horse so I wouldn’t say he’d handle real heavy ground - I also find a lot of Milan bred horses prefer a bit of better ground.”
