The danger of being struck by a formbook increased at Punchestown today with the win of 20/1 outsider Claudia Augusta over 50/1 shot Tudor Fashion in the Punchestown.com for Festival Offers Mares Maiden Hurdle.

Five odds-on shots have been turned-over in the last 12 races run in Ireland and Claudia Augusta's (ridden by Mark Enright) success surprised most, including her trainer Dessie Hughes who subsequently stated “I didn't think she'd go on that ground and thought she'd want it a lot better.

He added “she did run quite well at Thurles the second day though and I thought the extra half mile would suit her today. Her dam won a couple of bumpers.”

Enright is currently leading Conditional Jockey with 25 wins.
