Outspoken gets the job done

Outspoken was sent off a short price to make it two wins from three runs in the Gilmore's Mercedes-Benz Race at Dundalk and duly did the business in workman-like fashion.
Donnacha O'Brien tracked the leader Xebec on the 8/15 shot and he was ridden into a narrow lead two furlongs from home.
He stuck on gamely and pulled away in the closing stages to post a four-and-a-quarter length victory.
The winner had scored on his debut at Navan before chasing home stable-mate Archangel Raphael in a similar three-runner conditions event a week ago at Fairyhouse.
"He's a lovely horse and will make a lovely stayer next year. He's still a bit weak and babyish but he has a fair engine," said the winning ride.
"He's lazy and never travelled strongly on the bridle but always travelled nicely and I always thought I was going to win.
"Joseph likes the horse that beat him the last day (Archangel Raphael) and he's in a Group 1 in France on Tuesday which says a lot about him."
