Prince Jock wins another at the age of 9

"He had been working well at home and I rode him more forward today," said Keith Moriarty after Prince Jock owned and trained by his father Albert, landed division one of the Coral.ie Money Back If Your Horse Is Beaten By A Length Handicap at Cork.
The nine-year-old US-bred gelding was a 16/1 shot for this extended mile heat, and he tracked the leaders before being ridden to lead two furlongs out and soon asserting.
Four lengths clear a furlong out Prince Jock kept on well from there to comfortably beat course specialist Apache Gold by four and a quarter lengths.
Moriarty added: "That's my sixth winner - and it's about time he won again!"
R.P. Cleary, rider of Busy Bush trained by J.T.Gorman, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount acted up in the stalls.
