The David Wachman trained Pageboy ran out a convincing winner of the Corkracecourse.ie Hurdle as he provided his rider Barry Geraghty with a quick fire double (won the first aboard Ted Dolly .

The 4yo son of Galileo was a moderate performer on the level failing to score on his three starts but he has been a revelation since going over hurdles.

He finished sixth on his debut over them behind Maggie Neary at Gowran in March before scoring on his next start at Tipperary in April.

Having opened at 6/4 this morning with Paddy Powers he opened on track at 13/8 before being backed into 11/10 favourite at the off.

After chasing the leaders in third early on he improved to challenge three out and led before the second last.

He was ridden clear before the last, going on to score by an easy eight and a half lengths at the line.

Dual Kilbeggan scorer White Feathers finished second at 9/4 on her first start for Eoin Doyle since moving from the yard of Garrett Power.

Winning rider Barry Geraghty said afterwards: “He was well prepared for today and he knew his job for just his third run over hurdles. He is a hardy sort."

Geraghty was recording his sixth winner of the week and his second double having recorded a brace at Bellewstown on Thursday.

Not only was Geraghty recording a double on the card but it was his 1,000th winner in Ireland.
