It proved plain sailing for 1/4 shot Voix Du Reve in the opening Phil Kierans Memorial Hurdle at Bellewstown this afternoon.
Paul Townend jumped out in front on the hotpot and he eased clear from the second last to secure a 25-length victory.
The Willie Mullins-trained gelding was following up a similarly easy victory at Killarney in mid-May.
“That was straight-forward. It was the perfect opportunity for him and he was well placed,” said Townend.
“We'd have been disappointed if he didn't come out and do that but they still have to go and do it.
“He's competed in all those big handicaps, has plenty of experience, and it's nice that he's getting a rewarded for his ability.”
