After winning at Gowran on Saturday Ringside Humour quickly followed up at Leopardstown today as she took the Spin 1038 Handicap under Kevin Manning for Jim Bolger.
The daughter of Teofilo went up nine pounds for winning at Gowran but carried just a mandatory five pound winners penalty today.
Sent off the even money favourite she was settled towards rear before improving into fifth as they approached the straight.
She hit the front a furlong and a half from home and was driven out from there to hold off the challenge of Extreme Appeal Wayne Lordan for David Wachman, by a length and three parts.
The runner-up was returned at 4/1 while Athenry Boy (8/1) completed the placings a further length and three parts back in third under Pat Smullen for Jim Gorman.
Jim Bolger said afterwards: "She wouldn't have won much with the 9lb and the 4lb (she had in hand) was a help.
"She's fairly versatile trip-wise. I was hoping she'd win last time but I thought after she jumped out it had gone.
"She's improved a lot since last year and is in again at Navan on Saturday."
