Saidso best on handicap bow
Whosaidso looked to be on a nice mark for his handicap debut over fences and so it proved as he prevailed under a very patient Andrew Lynch in the New Years Day At Fairyhouse Handicap Steeplechase.
From a fair way out it was obvious that Lynch had plenty of horse underneath him and he arrived there to challenge going to the last where he jumped to the front. From there on the Saddlers' Hall gelding pulled out enough to beat Artic Island by two lengths.
Successful trainer, Denis Cullen, said after his third winner: "We're delighted with him. We'll look for another handicap with him now."
