Satu takes last at Cork
Eoin Doyle was continuing his good run when he took the concluding race on this evening’s card, the Gouldshill Maiden Hurdle with 8/1 shot Satu under Shay Barry for owner Paul Holden.
Winning trainer Doyle said afterwards: “Things are going well after a lean spell. We bought this lad out of Dave Myerscough’s.
“He took a while to come to himself but I think he’s good enough to go novice hurdling we will look at Listowel next for him.”
“He likes a cut in the ground he definitely won’t go on fast ground and we might go back on the flat later on in the year.”
