The concluding Fairyhouse Summer Series Handicap at Fairyhouse today went to the Pat Flynn trained Scots Gaelic who defied top weight under Danny Grant.

The son of Tomba chased the leaders before moving to the front early in the straight, staying on well for a comfortable win over Adatara

Flynn was absent but Grant later stated “Scots Gaelic was probably a bit unlucky the last day as he went on a bit too soon. Before, he used to be lazy but he travels well now and I think he could win again.”
