Indian Temple recorded a shock win when taking a dramatic Tramore Racecourse Supporters Club Beginners Chase.

The whole complexion of this 2m6f event changed at the fifth last where Shake It Up who had shown a tendency to jump left and was holding about a six lengths lead, jumped violently left and ran out.

Indian Temple was left in front at this point, and the 20/1 chance made the best of his way home, keeping on well in the straight for Mikey Butler.

Eoin Doyle 's charge had five lengths to spare over Swantykay with Knockraha Prince a further eight lengths away in third.

Doyle said, "We didn't think he was going to do much today but he won a point-to-point and obviously he's better over fences. We'll see what kind of mark he gets."
