Ryan Moore's flying visit to Dundalk didn't pay off as War Envoy could only manage second in the Patton Stakes.

Moore was in the winner's enclosure for Aidan O'Brien at the Curragh on Sunday and the Ballydoyle handler called on him again to partner the 11-8 favourite in this Listed heat.

Having settled nearer last than first, Moore produced War Envoy to win his race before the furlong marker but he couldn't get past the resolute Convergence (8-1), who stuck his neck out to prevail by a length.

The Light Up Your Night Apprentice Handicap appeared a tightly-knit affair on paper but Chiclet (9-2) proved much too strong for her rivals.

Tracey Collins' filly hadn't been sighted since shedding her maiden tag at Navan in October, but a winter's break has obviously done her the world of good because she cantered into the lead halfway down the straight and was pushed out by Gary Halpin to beat Oor Jock by two lengths.< Cappadocia gained his revenge on last week's conqueror Shabra Emperor with the drop to six furlongs helping Seamus Fahey's 9-2 chance inflict a neck defeat on Shinyhappyjohn with Shabra Emperor a never-nearer third, in the Easter Dining At Dundalk Handicap.

Irish life clearly suits On Location (8-1), who was a class apart from her Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk Race & Stay Package Maiden rivals.

The Canadian import cruised up to front-running market leader Torpedo Alley before the furlong pole and coasted home four and a half lengths to the good.

Despite arriving on the back of a five-month absence, the money came for Tooreen Legend prior to the Follow Us On Facebook Handicap and the 2-1 joint-favourite didn't disappoint, knuckling down well to deny Sparanai on the line.

The well-fancied Chatterton was withdrawn at the start of the www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap, which went the way of 12-1 shot Cheers Buddy
