< Mansony who looked a beaten horse as the leaders turned for home, got up close home to land the feature Normans Grove Chase for the Arthur Moore stable.< Tumbling Dice set a fair early gallop and opened a near eight-length lead at the halfway stage, but Watson Lake and Thyne Again closed menacingly four from the finish.

The 5-4 favourtie Thyne Again appeared to have sealed the contest after a fine leap at the penultimate fence, but Davy Russell regalvanised his 11-4 chance coming to the last and Mansony ultimately had six lengths to spare at the line.< Pink Suitcase overcame a 290-day layoff to make a successful return to action in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase.

There were three in a line three-out and Sizing America seemed to have the upper hand coming to the next, but Tom Dreaper got serious on the seven-year-old and after jumping to the front at the last, the 9-2 chance managed to repel the rallying Sizing America by a head.< Across The Bay got the better of even-money favourite Qualviro to land the opening Kehoe Ceilings & Partitions Maiden Hurdle.

Jim Culloty's market leader made virtually all the running, but Barry Geraghty was never far away on Noel Meade's well-backed 6-4 second-favourite and after a titanic tussle after the last, Across The Bay gained an advantage in the last 50 yards and scored by two and a half lengths.

Willie Mullins' The Midnight Club showed similar qualities to beat Clan Tara in the 20% On Line Discount Novice Hurdle.

Given a patient ride, the evens favourite took it up coming to the last and was driven to a two-length victory by Emmet Mullins.

The young 5lb claimer added another win to his tally aboard the Tom Mullins-trained Mustangsallyrally in the Bobbyjo Bistro At Fairyhouse Handicap Chase.

They were out on their feet at the end of the Fairyhouse.ie. Handicap Hurdle, but East Beach (9-1) enjoyed the testing conditions and landed the spoils for the Terence O'Brien yard.
