Jim Bolger has high hopes for Parish Boy after the Godolphin-owned juvenile returned to action with a gutsy victory in thetote.com Eyrefield Stakes at Leopardstown.

Running for the first time since defeating Order Of St George at Navan at the beginning of August, the 7-2 shot had the same opponent to beat and the pair of them fought out the finish of the Listed contest.

Order Of St George made what looked a decisive move to hit the front a furlong and a half out, but Kevin Manning gave chase and Parish Boy collared the leader close home to win by half a length, staking his claim to be considered a Guineas prospect.< Kanes Pass has had a terrific season with three victories in handicaps and the Willie McCreery-trained mare topped it off with a superb success at Listed level in thetote.com Knockaire Stakes.

Billy Lee rode a patient race on the 16-1 shot and had plenty to do going to the final quarter-mile, but the five-year-old charged down the outside to beat last year's winner Francis Of Assisi by a length.

Champion jumps trainer Willie Mullins picked up a big prize on the level when Clondaw Warrior (16-1) was driven into the lead inside the final furlong by John Egan to land the Tote November Handicap by a neck from the closing Spacious Sky

Aidan O'Brien introduced the well-touted Sir Isaac Newton in thetote.com EBF Maiden, and though he showed promise, he could not cope with Dermot Weld's newcomer Zawraq (3-1), who rallied well for Pat Smullen to win by half a length.

O'Brien picked up the Tote Pick6 Races 1 To 6 EBF Fillies Maiden with recent Navan runner-up Easter (3-1), who led all the way under Seamie Heffernan and kept on well to hold off the odds-on favourite Stellar Glow by a length.

Shane Foley notched a treble on the final day of the season with Mick Halford's pair Prologue (7-2 favourite) in the nursery and Diylawa (7-2) in the nine-furlong maiden, plus Bill Farrell's Stronger Than Me (9-2) in the10-furlong handicap.
