< Twinlight produced a classy display to make a successful return to action in the Grade Three Poplar Square Chase at Naas.

Ruby Walsh tracked the front-running Realt Mor on Willie Mullins' 11-4 chance and brought him to the stands rail in the straight.

Favourite Oscars Well went in pursuit, but Twinlight had plenty left in the locker and Walsh didn't have to get too serious for him to see off the market leader by seven lengths.< Rule The World also has a big campaign ahead of him judging by his victory in the Hospitality At Naas Racecourse Hurdle.

Things didn't look good for Mouse Morris's Cheltenham Festival runner-up when he injured himself at Punchestown in April, but the way he quickened to catch leader King Shabra on the run to the last here proved that he is back to himself, and he stayed on for a two-and-a-half-length call as the 6-4 favourite.

Big things are expected of Defy Logic this term and he was sent off the 2-5 favourite for his fencing debut in the Weatherbys Ireland GSB Beginners Chase.

He didn't disappoint, either, jumping fluently in front and accelerating away from the last to beat Golanbrook by 19 lengths.< Noah Webster (14-1) was ordinary at best on the level but has a decent jumping future after taking the Follow Us On Facebook Maiden Hurdle for Aidan O'Brien, who is now three from three with his jumpers this term.

There was a decent prize up for grabs in the Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle and Courtncatcher (7-1) just held the late thrust of Jennies Jewel to complete a hat-trick.

The Naas Annual Membership Handicap Hurdle also produced a tight finish, with Alpha And Omega pipping Hop In while Racing Pulse who won on his only start between the flags, made a seamless transistion to the bumper sphere by running away with the Go Racing In Kildare Membership (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race.
