FormscanBy Michael Graham - Dermot Weld has won two of the last five renewals of this race so his newcomer Mutaabeq has to be given plenty of respect from a low draw. NATIONAL WEALTH has performed to a decent standard on both starts and could prove the answer. His fourth place to Lethal Power over a similar trip in Roscommon reads better after that horse won a good handicap in Leopardstown. This is a step up in trip for Encantador after she finished four and three quarter lengths behind a decent sort in Leopardstown. The 80-rated Active Approach sets the standard. She disappointed when sent off 5/4 favourite for a Killarney maiden but that was over a further trip and she took a keen hold. On the form of her second places behind Kalaxana in the Ulster Oaks at Down Royal and behind Lucius Tiberius at the Curragh, she has to have every chance.
For three yrs old and upwards maidens at starting
